Spring Team Building 2025: Prekmurje Edition

Team Building Recap

Our Office Manager Katja (as always) made sure everything ran smoothly, and she had help from our developer Tomaž, who brought the local knowledge and some extra good energy.

We stayed at Panonska vas, a cozy resort full of traditional Pannonian houses. Kicked things off with a proper dinner at Gostilna Rajh — a local classic — and wrapped the night with games, music, and our now-traditional welcome ceremony for new teammates.

The next day started with a breakfast that could’ve fed twice as many people, followed by a trip to the adrenaline park (secured by ropes, don’t worry). Lunch was a giant pot of bograč, slow-cooked outside the resort. After that, it was either chill time or football near the pond — depending on your energy levels.

In the afternoon, we hit Zidanica Malek for wine tasting and stories, then had dinner with a view at Taverna Jeruzalem. Some of us called it a night early, some stayed up for the quiz.

Sunday was easy — breakfast, coffee, and the ride back to Ljubljana.

Our team building weekends like this aren’t just for fun — they make a real difference

Spending time together outside the day-to-day helps us get to know each other as people, not just coworkers. And that changes how we work. It brings more honesty, more accountability, and more care into everything we do — because when you know the people around you, you don’t just show up for your tasks. You show up for the team. You do your part because you want to contribute to something shared — something you’re building with people you like.

It also makes us a better agency

When things get intense — tight deadlines, unexpected blockers, product pivots — that sense of connection is what holds everything together. You’re more likely to speak up, to support each other, to push through as a team rather than as individuals protecting their own patch.

Team building builds trust, and trust builds momentum. It’s not just a feel-good exercise — it’s something that helps us move faster, communicate better, and solve harder problems together. That kind of energy carries back into the office with us, every time.

Even though the vibes in our office are always high and we love to chat at lunch and during coffee breaks in our cozy living room, two days on a trip like this can bring you closer to your colleagues than a few months in the office ever could.

We get personal and valuable insights into each other—things we can bond and connect over. Like who’s good at sports, who loves to eat, who’s always sleepy, who’s afraid of heights, who’s a picky eater, and who needs to pee every half an hour during a road trip.

We’re already looking forward to the next team building in the fall to get some new valuable insights and accept new members into our team.

But before that… we’ve got plenty of building to do.

So let’s get back to it.
