Even the most traditional industries, such as art museums, offer an opportunity to change the Status quo. This is the challenge Kim Puchois tackled by understanding that museum visitors’ experience could be elevated to another level if they had an app to support it.

What is MuseMuse?

MuseMuse is an app which allows people to visit museums with more information at their hands than ever before. Whether you're an art history buff or just dipping your toes into cultural waters, MuseMuse will guide you seamlessly through museums with tailored itineraries.

Instead of the “boring” explanation on how each artwork has been done, MuseMuse gives you all the juicy backstories, that makes the artwork come to life.

Understanding your users

The biggest factor, which will make or break your app, is understanding your users and their challenges and finding a way to resolve them easily. This is exactly what Kim did, by understanding that people often don’t know which art pieces they should see in the limited amount of time they have.

Visiting Louvre in Paris? You probably don’t know what to see to get the best experience a museum has to offer. This is what MuseMuse solves with custom itineraries.

Kim already developed her app screens in collaboration with another designer, so our challenge was to make the app come to life as quickly as possible.

We built an MVP, which is also properly set up to be scaled, should MuseMuse successfully market their app and acquire a bigger number of users.

The whole process lasted approximately four months less in comparison to a regular development process, which allowed Kim to launch quickly and get some relevant feedback from the market.

Results

After 9 weeks of the development we were able to launch MuseMuse 1.0 to the public. Today, Kim and her team mostly focuses on acquiring new users, onboarding multiple Museums and raising funds for the startups. Quite busy right?

None of that would be possible in such a short time frame, if Kim hadn't decided to build her app with low-code approach (and find the best team to do it ;)...).

5.0

Calda worked very fast and was very responsive to any changes needed.
